My Term 2 2021 Learning Goals.

 Here are my Term 2 2021 learning goals. I will try hard to achieve my goals.

Recount Writing- Playing at the Park.

 WALT use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.

Playing at The Park

On Sunday morning I went to the park with my mum and dad.

First I went on to the monkey bars                        

Next I went on the slide.  The slide was cool. 

Then my mum went to get some 

food. When my mum got back we had some fish and chips.  

After that  we went to my nans. When I got there I saw my cousin.  We played a game of hide and seek. The game that we played was cool and fun. 

I asked if I could stay for the night and they said yes so I did. 

When I woke up in  the morning my family came to pick me and my cousin up.  Next we went to school. 

Finally we went home and we dropped my cousins off. I had an exciting day and a happy day.

My Mothers Day Git.

 I made a beautiful gift box and card for my Mum for Mothers Day.

Art Cat on a Mat.

 I used chalk and paint to create my favourite cat. Then I used coloured paper to weave a mat for my cat.

 

Cooking Chocolate and Coconut Balls.

 I made some sweet delicious Chocolate and Coconut Balls for my Mum for Mothers Day.

WALT to use lines to  show texture in our pencil  sketshes. We used soft  liines straight lines  and curvy lines.

 

The water cycle.

WALT use the correct structure and language for Explain Writing.

The water cycle.

The water cycle goes through oceans and rivers and creeks. When the Sun heats up water, it evaporates.

The water changes to water vapour and goes up to the clouds. Then it changes back to liquid water and it falls back to the ground as rain. Then the water cycle starts all over again

Why is the water cycle important to our Earth?

The water cycle is important to the Earth because it keeps animals alive and it keeps the plants alive. Water keeps 

Humans alive.

So that’s why the water cycle is important to our earth.

Recount Writing-Whaea Diane's visit.

 WALT use the correct structure for recount writing.

Whaea Diane's Visit.   

Yesterday Whaea  Diane came to talk to our class about Maths.

First Whaea Diane showed us a 120s board. We used it to count in tens.

After that she showed us the sorting houses cards. 

Next we sorted the houses into the colours of their roofs.    

Then we sorted the door colour.     

Finally I was happy because l was doing my  Maths with Whaea Diane.

What does kindness mean to me

 

On Saturday

 On Saturday I went to Waitangi with my mum  and   Dad When I got  there I jumped off the bridge, it felt like falling down from the sky but it was exciting because I jumped off the high bridge.

After that I went to the bouncy castle. When I got 

 On the bouncy castle I felt happy when I got down. When After that we went home

Recount Writing-On Saturday morning

 I am learning to write interesting stories for my readers.

On Saturday  morning.

On Saturday  morning I  went  to  my uncle’s house. We had a  cool  day  at the   house. We   had a swim at the back of the house.

Next when I got in the swimming pool it was cold   so I jumped out of the Pool. After the swim l got  dried.

Then we had a hangi at my uncle’s house. 

The hangi was yum. After the hangi we  went

home. I had a massive cool day.

Planting my seedling.

 

We were learning about plants in the sun. Plants need water and sun to grow.

I found it easy to dig a hole to put my seedling in the outside garden.

I found it hard to carefully hold my seedling when I as pushing the dirt into the hole.

I really enjoyed planting my seedling.

Next time I need to be careful with my plant.

 WALT be SMART is something happens online that we don like.

We were learning about keeping safe online.

I found it easy to put the letters on to my infographic.

I found it hard to find the images.

I really enjoyed changing the colours.
